These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of PlanMyTrip (the “Service”), operated by PlanMyTrip LLC, a LLC registered in NC, United States. By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. About us

We are a CCRA-accredited travel agency (TRUE Code 99935976) that helps you search and book travel — flights today, with hotels, cruises, tours, and insurance to follow. We act as your agent in arranging travel with airlines, hotels, and other suppliers. Each supplier has its own terms which also apply to your booking.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to make a booking. Bookings for minors must be made by an authorized adult. You confirm that all information you provide is accurate and complete, including names that exactly match government-issued ID for each traveler.

3. The booking process

3.1 Searches and quotes

Search results show live availability and pricing at the moment of the search. Prices can change at any time before a booking is confirmed because they’re set by the underlying supplier (the airline, hotel, etc.) — not by us.

3.2 Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only when you receive an email confirmation from us (or directly from the supplier) with a booking reference (PNR for flights). Until then, no contract exists.

3.3 Payment

Card payments for flight bookings are processed by Duffel Payments (PCI DSS Level 1 certified). For these transactions PlanMyTrip LLC is the merchant of record— your card statement will show our business name. Other supplier-direct payments are processed by that supplier’s PCI-compliant processor and the supplier appears on your statement. You authorize us (or the supplier) to charge the payment method you supply for the total amount shown, including taxes, fees, and our service fee.

3.4 Documentation and travel requirements

You are responsible for ensuring you hold valid documents for your trip: passport, visa, transit permissions, vaccination records, and any other entry requirements. We may provide general guidance but it does not substitute for official sources or professional advice.

4. Cancellations, changes, and refunds

Cancellation and change policies are set by the supplier of each booking and disclosed at checkout (refundable / non-refundable, change fees, fare conditions). Once a booking is confirmed:

  • Refunds — when permitted by the supplier — are processed via the original payment method within 7–30 business days depending on the supplier and your card issuer.
  • Our service fee is non-refundable except where required by law or where we are clearly at fault.
  • Schedule changes initiated by the supplier (airline schedule changes, hotel oversells, etc.): we will notify you promptly and help arrange suitable alternatives. We are not liable for supplier-driven changes but we’ll do our best to minimize disruption.
  • Cancellations within 24 hours on US-originating flights: U.S. DOT 14 CFR 259.5 typically permits a full refund. We will honor this where applicable.

5. Pricing

All prices shown include taxes, fees, and carrier surcharges unless explicitly stated. Our service fee is a separate line item disclosed at checkout. We commit to not adding hidden fees at the final step.

Currency conversion: if you choose to view prices in a currency other than the supplier’s native, the conversion is approximate (rates refreshed daily); the supplier will charge in its native currency and your card issuer applies its own conversion. We make this explicit on the offer card with an “≈” prefix and the original-currency amount.

5a. AI trip planner, credits, and Day Pass

5a.1 What the planner is

Our AI trip planner generates personalized itineraries (day-by-day plans, venue suggestions, transport and money guidance, estimated costs). It is informational travel inspiration, not professional advice. Venues close, prices and schedules change, and AI-generated content can contain errors — verify opening hours, prices, transport schedules, and entry requirements before relying on them or making bookings. Cost figures are estimates, never quotes.

5a.2 Free allowance and paid credits

The planner includes a free allowance; beyond it, generation requires a Day Pass or credit pack (prices shown at purchase). These are digital products delivered instantly: credits never expire, a credit is consumed only when a generation succeeds, and a Day Pass covers 24 hours of planning subject to fair use. As stated at purchase, credit packs and Day Passes are non-refundable except where required by law. If something went wrong with a purchase, contact info@planmytriphere.com — we review every request in good faith.

5a.3 Content standards

The planner produces general-audience travel content only. Requests for adult entertainment or services, illegal drugs, or any unlawful activity are not fulfilled: we may silently disregard those elements of a request, or decline to generate entirely. Automated content-safety screening is applied to planner inputs (see our Privacy Policy).

6. Your responsibilities and acceptable use

  • Provide accurate passenger details and matching identification.
  • Arrive at the airport / hotel / port on time, with required documents.
  • Comply with supplier rules (baggage, boarding, conduct).
  • Use the Service only for lawful, personal travel planning — no automated scraping.
  • Do not attempt to access, tamper with, or disrupt our systems.
  • Do not submit unlawful, sexually explicit, hateful, harassing, or violent content in any free-text field (planner requests and notes, comments, venue reports, support messages). We may remove such content, decline to process it, and suspend the account responsible.
  • Zero tolerance for child exploitation. Any content or request that sexualizes or endangers minors is blocked, results in immediate and permanent termination, and is preserved and reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement as required by 18 U.S.C. § 2258A.
  • No security probing: vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, exploitation attempts, credential stuffing, rate-limit evasion, or automated bot traffic against the Service is prohibited without our prior written permission. We monitor for, log, and automatically block traffic exhibiting attack patterns, and may report it to hosting providers and authorities.

7. Our liability

We act as an agent for travel suppliers. We are not responsible for the actual operation of the trip — flight delays, cancellations, denied boarding, hotel quality, etc. are between you and the supplier. We are responsible for fulfilling our role as your agent: presenting accurate prices, processing payments correctly, communicating supplier changes, and providing reasonable customer support.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the amount of service fees you paid to us for the specific booking giving rise to the claim. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (e.g., gross negligence, willful misconduct, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence in many jurisdictions).

Force majeure: we are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (acts of nature, war, terrorism, government action, supplier insolvency, internet outages, etc.).

8. Disputes

8.1 Customer support first

Most issues are resolved fastest by emailing info@planmytriphere.com. Please contact us before pursuing formal action; we want to make things right.

8.2 Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of [State of formation], United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to applicable consumer-protection laws, any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in [State of formation].

8.3 No class actions

To the extent permitted by law, you and we agree that disputes will be brought individually and not as a class, collective, or representative action.

9. Intellectual property

The Service — including our brand, design, code, and original content — is owned by PlanMyTrip LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial travel planning only. Supplier content (logos, photos, descriptions) belongs to the respective suppliers.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, attempt fraud, or otherwise misuse the Service — including automated blocking of traffic that exhibits attack, scraping, or abuse patterns, without prior notice. You may stop using the Service at any time. Confirmed bookings remain governed by the supplier’s terms and these Terms even after termination.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the site and, where you have an account, by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
